Dr. Cosmina Nolan is thrilled to be a pediatric dentist and co-owner of this amazing new pediatric dental office.
Since she was a child herself, Dr. Cosmina knew that she wanted to work with children. Born in Bucharest, Romania and having grown up in New York City, Dr. Cosmina has always loved working with and mentoring kids.
Dr. Cosmina graduated with honors from Binghamton University in 2001 with a degree in Biological Sciences. She continued her studies at the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine where she received her DDS degree with honors and a minor in pediatric dentistry. She then completed her pediatric dentistry specialty residency at the prestigious St Joseph's Hospital of Providence, Rhode Island (affiliated with Lutheran Medical Center).
Dr. Cosmina is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry after completing rigorous written and oral competency examinations and also a certified laser dentist after successfully completing the proficiency course and examination administered by the Academy of Laser Dentistry (ALD). Additionally, Dr. Cosmina volunteers her time as a clinical instructor at St. Joseph's Hospital Dental Clinic and Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse. She is fluent in Romanian and can speak some German and Spanish.
Dr. Cosmina has been working as a pediatric dentist in the Central New York region since 2008 and has become a well-loved member of the community. When she's not working with kids, she loves spending time with her husband, Aaron (a local general dentist) and their two girls, Minabelle and Esmine. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, dancing, tennis and watching Syracuse basketball.
